Step 1: Online Academics

Purchase and complete the required online academic courses. This foundational knowledge is essential for your hands-on training.
Step 2: Instructor Coordination

Choose an instructor and coordinate your required dives and practical applications. Your instructor will guide you through the practical aspects of rebreather diving.
Step 3: Rebreather Purchase

Purchase the Dive Talk Go mCCR. The unit will be shipped directly to your chosen instructor for your practical sessions.
Step 4: Certification Completion
🎓 Complete Your Training
After completing the dives and practical applications, you and your instructor will log back into Dive Talk Academy to sign off on your progress. Your certification card will then be generated.
Certification Standards
✅ Prerequisites:
- ✅ Nitrox Certification
- ✅ Minimum 20 logged open water dives
- ✅ Minimum age: 18
⏳ Course Duration:
- 🔹 40 recommended course hours
- 🔹 Minimum 4 days
- 🔹 At least 8 hours academic/practical training
🌊 Dive & Practical Skills Include:
- 🔹 Pre-dive checks & planning
- 🔹 Emergency procedures & safety stops
- 🔹 Mouthpiece familiarity & buoyancy control
- 🔹 PPO2 monitoring & electronic systems use
- 🔹 Post-dive cleaning & maintenance
🏅 Final Certification Requirements:
- ✅ Complete 7+ training dives (420 minutes total in-water time)
- ✅ Demonstrate a 50m/164ft surface diver tow with full CCR gear
- ✅ Pass the final exam with 80%+ (100% remediation required)
